Like most businesses, we are commited to finding practical ways of being green.

Specifically, we do this by :

• - recycling paper waste
  - buying clean energy
  - using recycled paper material where this has no impact on product quality
  - use reusable plastic crates, instead of disposables, for shipment of raw materials
  - work with suppliers who share our values.
  
  

In 2009, we also plan to:

1) Drive an electric van

Cardfactory owns Australia's only Boyertown Battronic (Manufactured in 1974).

In 2009, we will have restored this unique all-electric van, for use in card
transfer and dispatch directly to our Australia Post Interchange.

2) Offer a series of cards that are 100% made from post-consumer waste.

The technology is not yet available for us to offer this service and still maintain
a high quality finish but recent developments in the USA mean we will be modifying our
equipment to offer this service in August 2009, subject only to cost effectiveness.
